Job Summary:

As part of the decarbonization of the mines, Liebherr Mining has identified a new business. The aim is to market the ammonia genset as a new Liebherr product to its customers.
The ammonia genset should enable customers to produce renewable energy when they have no access to renewable electricity, for example at night, in cloudy weather, during blackouts, etc.
In the context of this thesis, this business will be developed and the product and product platform will be defined based on feedback from existing customers and market and internal stakeholders.
The second step to complete the product definition would be to select the right equipment supplier and coordinate / manage the project. It is also expected to support marketing activities. Finally, further business potential in other industries for the product needs to be researched, identified and evaluated.
 

The following steps are foreseen:

•    Research and understanding of the topic 
•    Collection and analysis of the voice of customer
•    Define the products and product platform. 
•    Contact potential suppliers, evaluate them, and make a recommendation. 
•    Define and manage the ammonia genset project in consultation with suppliers and the Liebherr internal team. 
•    Propose communication material to be used for MineExpo 2024 and Bauma 2025, and support marketing in its implementation.
•    Research and evaluate the business potential of ammonia gensets in other industries.
 

Prequisites:

•    Degree in technical business administration, industrial engineering, engineering sciences or similar
•    Interest in mobile mining machines & mining & zero emission solutions
•    Strong technical interest combined with holistic, entrepreneurial thinking
•    Good knowledge of English
•    Analytical & Strategical Thinking
•    Independent, self-responsible and reliable working style
•    Confident handling of MS Office
