Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist Clinic is responsible for performing and assisting with diagnostic radiology procedures in surgery, pain management and other clinical areas within the Clinic facility. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications
Associate Degree graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required 1-3 years Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of diagnostic radiology. Ensures appropriate use of screening tools for patients prior to the performance of any procedure. Applies independent, professional, ethical and critical thinking to ensure the accuracy of the procedure. Practices radiation safety techniques by using appropriate technique and shielding for the patient, self and others. Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development across the lifespan and is competent in age-appropriate imaging and patient care. Demonstrates competence of the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS. Always complies with HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements and is compliant with required annual training.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT Radiography Certification required Licensed Radiologic Technologist As required by state required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
