Responsibilities:
Responsible for outlining and polishing the written content for the streaming shows during tapings.Responsible for supporting the cases with accurate information of other related stories occurring around the world.Assists producers in all aspects of the production of daily streaming content with a focus on writingWrites stories as assigned by producers, including readers, voice-overs, vo/sots, and anchor packagesApplies solid news judgment while researching a variety of news sources and materials for stories and graphics creationIdentifies and utilizes best video and sound bites for the stories assignedWorks with the editors to maximize use of video and ensure accuracyAssists producers and reporters with research, creation of graphics and all aspects of final production (banners, supers, etc.)Works under the direct supervision of the General Producer and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisorQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3 years of news writing experienceMust be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)Minimum 1 year of working experience with iNewsEligibility Requirements:
