The Wireline Workshop Operator is responsible for assisting in the preparations, minor maintenance, and logistics of a full range of wireline services required by various clients across Norway and supporting movement of equipment across our Europe team.  This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within the Wireline Systems Product Line in the Europe Region.
 

As a Workshop Operator - Wireline, you will be responsible for:

Receiving established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity performs basic duties at the wellsite and at the shopDelivering safe wireline workshop operations and preparation of equipment to ensure valid data acquisition at the wellsiteLearning about servicing mechanical devices, building logging cableheads, building perforating cableheads and tool maintenancePerforming minor maintenance of wireline equipmentMaintaining asset records and communications as required. Responsible for proper job-related paperwork and other records for self and workshop teamParticipating in Duty tasks related to LogisticsParticipating effectively in quality improvement effortsPromoting and maintaining good customer relations

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a High School Diploma or equivalentHave proven Oil & Gas Industry experience and product line (wireline) trainingHave sound organisational skills with ability to prioritiseHave sound interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and communicate effectivelyHave experience with working in High pace and High Pressure environmentsBe able to demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detailBe resilient and driven attitude towards challengesBe fluent in English
