Workshop Manager - Australia, International Vacancy
RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that quality service at a reasonable cost is offered to customers while maintaining a profitable operation. Supervise and Manage workshop, Establish financial and operational objectives, and prepare monthly forecast, Control performance quality of department. (Daily operating control, efficiency and productivity control, warranty report, telephone survey) Establish job description and keep up to-date. Select and train key personnel. Assist with complex servicing if necessary Assist and monitor technicians Evaluate performance of employees, based on job descriptions and departmental objectives, Handle difficult customer complaints. Determine the need for new tools and equipment and arrange the purchase of such materials, Suitable technical experience as a Senior Technician to provide expertise to other members of the Team when necessary. REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Technician or 3 years' experience as a Service Manager Qualified Petrol & Diesel Technician Strong Financial acumen Strong experience and skill set of managing a workshop and technical knowledge (including engine/gearbox/clutch changes to standard services). All types of vehicles inducing petrol, diesel and to a certain extent electric and classic cars, including restoration. Computer literate Must have ability to work in a high-pressure environment Driver’s license Contactable references Must be willing to emigrate to Australia. Client will assist with certain relocation costs and Visa process.  There will be some expenses that the applicant will have to cover.
