Their alternative mining system not only challenges the inefficiencies of centralized, conventional compressed air mining methods but also leads the charge in sustainable and profitable mining operations.
Due to an expanding project pipeline and increasing workloads, the company is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead its technical workshop. This role will be based in the Northwest Province. Your leadership will streamline the maintenance, repair, and operational processes, directly contributing to the overall success of the mining projects.
Job Responsibilities: Implement quality control measures for all equipment. Ensure adherence to company Policy and Procedures. Manage workshop repairs, testing, and failure analysis. Maintain a safe working environment. Oversee assembly, maintenance, and refurbishment of mining equipment. Provide continuous training to staff and new employees. Compile and communicate product performance data. Manage assets and workshop employees.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Matric certificate. Trade qualification in Fitting, Millwright, or Diesel Mechanic. 8+ years of experience in manufacturing. Mining experience will be advantageous. No criminal record and medically fit.
