WORKS CONTROLLER
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
G4S Facilities Management we have an exciting opportunity for a Works Controller to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford.
The successful candidate will assist the Senior Works Controller in providing on site administrative assistance. This includes coordinating work schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed for on site works, and supporting smooth and efficient operations on site.
Responsibilities
Contractor Coordination
To ensure reactive maintenance and repairs are quoted and works are seen through to completion and to manage visitor bookings for specialist subcontractors.
Report weekly/monthly on all tasks that are not able to be completed.
Ensure that Contractor Planned Maintenance delivery is effectively scheduled in advance each month/year.
Provide the appropriate communications to our client (in line with their policy) advising of any works that could have an impact upon Site
Operations
Providing regular updates and feedback on the performance of contractors on site.
Processing of supplier paperwork to ensure that the appropriate logbooks are kept up to date for areas of responsibilities.
liaise with procurement to ensure future planning has been forecasted with appropriate suppliers.
Other
Booking visitors onto site, to include arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms.
Taking inbound calls in support of planned and reactive work activity as required.
Assist with queries, complaints and general enquiries and other duties as necessary from time to time including holiday cover
Essential
Good working knowledge of google software.
General administration experience within FM or similar industry.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Take ownership and action in an ever changing environment.
Be flexible, readily accepting change initiatives.
Desirable
Working knowledge of Maximo or CAFM system
