Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Workplace Coordinator play a key part in driving and supporting the front-of-house services for our client. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will collaborate with both the client and BGIS teams to drive workplace initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with workplace team members, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless service delivery. Lead weekly meetings with the client on meeting room setup and services and manage key client relationships. Oversee maintenance, service delivery, and compliance with tender obligations and CMMS operations. Perform Fire Warden duties and ensure proper emergency evacuation procedures. Monitor service performance through KPIs, customer surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives. Review operational services and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer experience. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and BGIS business systems (QMS, WH&S, EMS). Provide front-line support to building management, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of facilities issues.Experience and Skills
Experience
Experience in managing services, focusing on customer service and continuous improvement. Able to manage service outcomes and deliver solutions in customer service roles. Comfortable creating service reports. Basic understanding of business planning and financial management. Flexible and open to new ideas and ways of solving problems.Skills
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with executives. Well-presented, with the ability to maintain a professional appearance. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable with assessing performance and suggesting improvements. Good communication skills when working with both internal teams and clients. Must be able to perform heavy lifting and carry large items as needed.Desirable
Experience in Property, Facilities, or Project Management is a plus. Familiarity with IWMS (Integrated Work Management System) is a bonus.Why Join BGIS?
