Hey, are you passionate about AI and analytics and searching for an exciting working student activity where you can gain valuable insights into the field of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence? Then we have just the right opportunity for you!

Starting as soon as possible we are looking for you to support our international Applied Analytics & AI (AAAI) team for a period of 9 - 12 months with an average working time of 20 hours per week. We will mainly need you on-site in Hannover.

Our team is tackling over 20 exciting use cases across the Tire organization, utilizing everything from traditional time series forecasting to cutting-edge Generative AI. You will gain hands-on experience in a real business environment and have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic and innovative team.

Your tasks can vary and will include:

You assist with programming tasks and create demos for various use casesHelp us with the documentationSupport communication and reporting (texts, PowerPoints, PowerBI)You develop data visualizations, conduct AI research and collaborate with AI experts and data scientists

Qualifications

You are pursuing a Master degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence, so that you have basic knowledge in our area of expertiseKnowledge of data science and AI as well as programming skills in Python are requiredExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficialYou should be familiar with the popular MS Office programsFluent English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential 

In addition to these technical requirements, we are also looking for specific qualities and skills:

You are independent, goal-oriented and structured and know how to work effectively without losing trackA high level of creativity and good problem-solving capabilities are a matter of course for you and help you finding the best solutionsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this position - after all, we always work together to find solutions
