Workforce Technology Practice Leader (TPL) - South

SUMMARY:

The Workforce Technology Practice Leader (TPL) reports directly to the National Employee Benefits Technology Strategy & Operations Leader with a dotted line to the Regional President and Regional Employee Benefits President. The TPL is responsible for offering best practice guidance, human capital management consulting to clients for vendor vetting, escalation, and optimization engagements, and managing regional and national vendor relationships under the umbrella of the National TPL. The TPL is also a liaison between staff, vendors, and clients – communicating market trends, process changes, and other pertinent information for optimal technology performance. Additionally, the TPL oversees one or more Tech Practice Specialists, the regional Employee Navigator manager (EB Technology Manager), and their team.

The Employee Navigator team is responsible for building, renewing, training, and demonstrating HUB International’s Employee Navigator benefits management tool to HUB’s clients and prospects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing the day-to-day oversight, direction, supervision, and leadership for the South Technology Practice Specialist(s), EB Technology Manager, and the Employee Navigator teamResponsible for strategic planning and execution of Employee Navigator team engagement, resources, and staff development supporting the goals of the EB Tech ManagerContinual assessment and management of work distribution between TPL and Specialist during high volume periods to effectively manage workload for the regionMentoring, coaching, and promoting staff development throughout the South Tech TeamDeveloping the project plans for client engagements on vendor vetting, escalation, optimization, and implementation on any HCM platformKeeping abreast of market trends, changes in technology functionality offerings across the HCM marketplace, and communicating major changes to internal staff and clientsMaintaining project management software with project milestones, notes, and details surrounding each client engagementDeveloping materials for prospect presentations, client projects, and internal staff meetingsMaintaining local relationships with HCM vendor representatives to support current and future client engagementsMeet with other TPLs regularly to share information and gain feedbackTravel to regional meetings, vendor conferences, and client engagements as needed to achieve essential dutiesAdditional project work as assigned or volunteered for the betterment of the practiceTeams Channel organization, document gathering project, and vendor information

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree – business, insurance or technology major preferred5+ years of experience working with Benefit Administration and HCM platforms and their modular components (including but not limited to EDI and API integration, employee benefits, human resources management, payroll, and project management) or equivalent technology operations experienceExtensive knowledge of benefit administration operations and deliveryAbility to operate both independently and in a team setting; relationship-oriented & collaborativeStrong analytical and technical skillsOrganized with heavy attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, flexible, & thrives in a fast-paced environmentClear and appropriate communication with various stakeholders (internal and external) and active listening skillProficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Outlook & Word
