Job Description:

To ensure optimal staffing levels by accurately forecasting future staffing needs, creating effective schedules, and maintaining efficient workforce management systems. This role supports the workforce manager by analyzing data, planning capacity, and collaborating with various departments to meet business demands and operational goals.


Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation policies and standards.Provide guest service according to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation standards when serving guests or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work locations and perform all duties in compliance with Six Flags EntertainmentCorporation safety guidelines, reporting all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.Adhere to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation’s rules of conduct, including specific uniform and grooming standards as outlined in the Employee Guidelines and other park/division-specific policies and procedures.Adhere to and enforce all Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and specific park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and EEO policies, demonstrating commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.Create a working environment that encourages employees to have fun, provide excellent guest service, and fosters staff growth.Analyze historical data to predict future staffing requirements based on business demands, seasonal fluctuations, and market trends.Develop and maintain accurate staffing models to inform staffing decisions.Create capacity plans to ensure adequate staffing levels across different operational areas.Create and implement employee schedules that align with forecasted demand while considering employee availability, skills, and labor cost constraints.Manage time-off requests, leave of absences, and scheduling exceptions.Proficiently use workforce management software to manage schedules, track employee data, and generate reports.Stay updated on system upgrades and functionalities to optimize usage.Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and address operational challenges.Communicate scheduling updates and changes effectively to employees.Partner with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.Supervise and provide guidance to seasonal schedulers, ensuring they adhere to scheduling policies and procedures.Directly manage and support seasonal schedulers to optimize scheduling processes.Manage day-to-day staffing during operating season, to include, but not limited to call-offs, availability management through scheduling software platform.Serve as the system expert for workforce management software, providing training and support to year-round staff.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, along with being detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Additionally, responsible for scheduling duties within the UKG/Dimensions WFM (Workforce Management) system, which includes inputting and managing associate schedules by day, week, and long-term for various assigned departments and locations throughout the park.Revising associate and location schedules when required, due to staffing changes, business changes, or other interruptions, to maintain the required schedule coverage and the optimal business service level is also essential.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management and employees, and mathematical skills to understand and interpret data.Experience in forecasting, scheduling, and capacity planning, as well as expertise in workforce management software applications, are preferred.Bachelor’s degree (4-year college) preferred.
