Workforce Development- Project Manager

Position summary: The Project Liaison or PM for Workforce Development will act as the primary point of contact between various stakeholders, including community organizations, educational institutions, and workforce development steering committee to develop and deliver a program framework. This role involves overseeing and delivering project objectives on schedule and budget. Compensation for this position is $40-50/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential functions and responsibilities: Project Coordination and Project Management- + Oversee and manage the project(s) in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget to meet established goals and timelines. + Manage subconsultants. + Communicate project status, updates, and issues to internal and external stakeholders. + Participate in office’s project financial status meetings. + Build relationships with client(s) to understand preferences and requirements to set-up and execute a quality project. + Prepare weekly progress reports. Develop and lead project status and presentations. + Coordinate and guide all technical resources within the project team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality outcome. Stakeholder Engagement: + Serve as the main point of contact and facilitate communication with key stakeholders including the client, subconsultants to identify needs, mitigate risks, communicate progress, etc. Program Implementation: + Support and guide the development and execution of the program specific to workforce development programs, including curriculum development, marketing, and measurements. Nonessential functions and responsibilities: + Perform other related duties as assigned Required SkillsRequired Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field + 7+ years of related experience + Experience in leading projects + Experience in developing scalable and sustainable program frameworks Qualifications Preferred: + Knowledge of teaching techniques and instructional design principles. Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Travel to other offices will be required.
