As a Site Workforce Development Associate at Micron, you will provide support to your site regarding training and development programs, systems, compliance, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include support team in monitoring training certification, manage training software (LMS), upload training records in software, manage learning content etc.
As a part of the Site Workforce Development team, you may also facilitate site orientation, maintain training records, materials, and forms, instruct classes and workshops as needed, and assist in the presentation of material for different initiatives. You can expect to process training requests, conduct needs analyses and determine alignment with the business needs of the site. In this role, you will identify deliverables, establish timelines and the allocation of resources, and conduct evaluation measures to determine effectiveness.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Provide Training, Development, and Education Solutions
Develop solutions to meet design requirements
Implement solutions
Evaluate solution effectiveness and make appropriate adjustments
Provide Instruction, facilitation, or presentations
Develop, Govern, and Administer Processes and Systems
Create and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) records
Administer and manage systems for supporting training, development, and education
Establish and apply standards for workforce development procedures
Identify and report on critical metrics (readiness and training completion reports)
Define and document business processes to provide development solutions
Troubleshoot training systems and identify solutions
Provide information regarding existing training materials and documentation
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts
Collaborate within site to optimize department strategies
Maintain domain specific knowledge
Create or support implementation and communication plans
Develop, coordinate, or provide program training
Maintain regular communication with site leadership regarding program activities
