Workday HRIS Consultant

      

Lead level analyst with dotted line or management authority who supports both the systems and the processes of the HR business unit, acting in a liaison role between the business and IT. Establishes guidelines and priorities through partnership with other business and IT areas to determine business process improvements across wide range of processes, systems and business areas. Leads project team assignments of large scope requiring expert technical skills and proficient understanding of HR business systems and functions. Provides direction on policy & procedure, defines training strategy and provide advice to management on future development opportunities. Accountable for compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Responsible for data quality and the monitoring of reports and trending in the business unit.

         

          

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews, analyzes & evaluates complex HRIS business systems, processes, data, and user needs. Establishes guidelines and priorities through partnership with other business and IT areas to determine business process improvements across wide range of processes, systems and business areas; sets direction and policy within span of control.Oversight of organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements, gathering information and establishing system controls and protocols.Manage and successfully deliver highly complex projects.  Likely to lead and provide direction to others. Configures and tests HRIS system for highly complex projects, enhancements, and upgrades.  Maintains HRIS system documentation.Defines scope, objectives and requirements on highly complex projects.  Defines and designs system requirements and recommends solutions of highly complex business needs.Ownership of analysis and implementation of regulatory adherence to ensure compliance.Assists in defining, developing, and providing information and analysis to drive and support decision-making for highly complex processes and business operations for internal and external customers.Trains, mentors, and provides work direction to other analysts.  Acts in a semi-supervisory role.

Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent8-10+ years of HR experience in the HRIS Analyst fieldWorkday knowledge , including Advanced Compensation and business process configurationTechnical expertise and mastery knowledge across many functional areas, including CompensationAdvanced levels of analysis and independenceAdvanced working knowledge of systems design process and methodology as well as knowledge / use of systems tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and other applications / software as requiredAdvanced understanding of testing tools

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $104,512.00 - $141,398.00 per year OR $50.25 - $67.98 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
