We are seeking passionate, experienced individuals to fill two Workday Architect roles.  Commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, these roles will be filled at either the Workday Finance Sr. Architect or Workday Finance Architect level.

Specific job responsibilities include:

Workday Finance Architect/Sr. Architect (Grants Management and Core Financials) – This is a 2-year term position. Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, Data and Technology, the incumbent primarily supports the Grants and Core Financials functional modules and is responsible for front-line product management and providing best in class service to our stakeholders. The incumbent may also support other Workday Finance modules and functionality as assigned including Financial Data Model, Customer Accounts, Gifts and Endowments, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Projects. The successful candidate will have business process architect experience gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday and be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, customization, and troubleshooting of Workday Finance applications.

Workday Finance Architect/Sr. Architect (Payroll) – This is a 2-year term position. Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, Data and Technology, the incumbent primarily supports the Payroll functional module, with a particular focus on the Payroll Accounting configuration, and is responsible for front-line product management and providing best in class service to our stakeholders. The incumbent may also be engaged in supporting other Workday Finance modules and functionality as assigned including but not limited to Core Financials, Financial Data Model, Customer Accounts, Gifts and Endowments, Grants Management, Fixed Assets and Projects. The successful candidate will have business process architect experience gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday and be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, customization, and troubleshooting of Workday Finance applications.

Qualifications for the Workday Finance Sr. Architect or Workday Finance Architect:

Education: High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree Preferred 

Experience:

Sr. Architect Role: Experience: 8+ years of relevant experienceArchitect Role: Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Expertise/Certifications

Workday Grants Management and Core Financials functionality required for the Grants Management/Core Financials Architect role.Expertise in Workday Payroll functionality and accounting required for the Payroll Architect role.Desired: Expertise in other product areas including Core Financials, Financial Data Model, Customer Accounts, Gifts and Endowments, Payroll, Grants Management, Fixed Assets and Projects.Workday Pro certification in Grants Management/Education and Government and other product areas strongly preferred for the Grants Management/Core Financials Architect role.Workday Pro certification in Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking and other product areas strongly preferred for the Payroll Architect role.

Soft Skills:

Expertise in cloud-based multi-tenant systems preferredExperience in financial ERP systems required.Understanding of the end-to-end business process mapping.Strong knowledge base regarding system configuration impacts on related processes inside and outside of Workday.Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries.Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning.Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.Positive, service-oriented attitude and desire to see issues through to completion.Excellent verbal, analytical and written communication skills.Responsive, fast-paced decision-making skills with the ability to drive business results.

Anticipated Hiring Ranges:

Min $117,000 Max $147,000. Specific compensation will be dependent upon the selected role and the candidate's qualifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
