Job Summary:

The Work Site Support Specialist facilitates work-based learning experiences for eligible VR clients enrolled in high school, coordinating with worksites and leading classroom discussions using ODEP's soft skills curriculum. This role supports student integration, mediates between co-workers, and provides transportation as needed.

The Work Site Support Specialist position offers…

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate work-based learning experiences for students within the Pre-Employment Training program
• Provide on-site support for students working 16 hours/week at various worksites
• Lead 4 hours/week of soft skills training using the ODEP curriculum
• Mediate and support student integration at worksites, fostering a positive work environment
• Prepare plans, reports, and paperwork as required for the program
• Obtain student information through an intake process with families and providers
• Handle new hire paperwork, orientation, and student timesheets
• Transport students to and from worksites as needed
• Report student progress and outcomes to leadership and referral sources

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferably, experience in employment services, job coaching, business, HR, or human services

Employment Requirements:
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
