Work Flow Coordinator - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Work Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 4p-2a

Job Summary:  The WBW Coordinator will control and direct the processes and operations to ensure the smooth and efficient case flow of products into and out of the AS/RS from purchased products that are built and shipped on pallets to products that are in dairy cases from the dairy and outside vendors.

Principal Duties:Serve as a point of contact for Dairy Plant, Perishables Warehouse, AS/RS Loadout Supervisor, Yard Jockeys, Help Desk, Wawa Direct, Marketing and Transportation.Proactively use the tools in the Inventory System to monitor stock level and product quality and make business decisions based on the analysis of the data. Conduct file maintenance in the Inventory System and generate reports as needed.Utilize and manage the function of the hardware and software for multiple operating platforms that controls the flow of production, dock assignments and order allocation.Ensure accurate and on-time induction and shipment of products to and from the AS/RS system by continuously monitoring stock versus shipment needs.Monitor System Retrieval Mechanism to ensure proper mechanical function and contact mechanic/supervisor if faults occur.Communicate to Supervisors and Managers when recoveries are affecting system performance so that the urgency protocol can be elevated.Track mechanical and operational occurrences to provide management data for analysis.Support and drive work practices that ensure the safety and welfare of associates assigned to the department.Prioritize, direct and facilitate the repair, maintenance, and safe operation of an automated storage and retrieval system.Establish controls in shift operations to insure compliance with sanitation guidelines.Participate in, lead or sponsor teams within the department to address issues that impact safety, customer service and productivity.Operate and run the operations to ensure on time, accurate deliveries to our customers.Prioritize best food safety practices by following all processes and procedures and report any food safety issues to the supervisor or managerComply with all Wawa GMPs, policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
