Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starting pay rate of $19.00, actual wage will be adjusted based on experienceBenefits: Part-time, seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:
As Winter Door Staff, you will have the opportunity to ensure guests and staff are safe and following Killington Resort’s and Vermont DLC guidelines while providing security at special events, and late-night club operations.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Provide security for guests and staffInteract with all guests in a personable and friendly manner as they enter or leave the areaEnsure Resort guidelines and Vermont State DLC laws are being followedMonitor consumption, compliance, removals, capacity, and crowd control in a courteous, efficient, and authoritative mannerMaintain organization when crowds become large. This includes directing foot traffic and assisting guests with wayfinding while upholding the highest standard of professionalismIf evacuation is required, door person is to maintain order and help guests and staff evacuate quickly and safely under the directive of the manager on dutyServe as venue gatekeeper, maintaining post at doorReport pressing security related issues to managerProvide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all timesFollow Resort Hospitality Standards while interacting with other guests in a courteous, efficient mannerEnsure all exits are clean and clear of snow and provide snow removal when necessaryUpdate and Maintain clean and clear marqueePerform other tasks as assignedBasic Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years oldMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be able to de-escalate situationsAbility to be stern, as requiredRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
