Hermès GB Limited is one of the many subsidiaries branching out from our Hermès International Headquarters in Paris. We operate with over 300 employees, from our Headquarters in London and across nine stores within our retail function in cities such as London, Dublin and Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
Display Production
Oversee the full production process from concept development to installations in all stores (London and Dublin) ensuring all designs are executed as planned, within timeframes and budgets Manage multiple external suppliers, vendors, contractors and freelancers from appointing to projects to final delivery Collaborate with the Hermès International Windows team on all concept development, ensuring feedbacks and comments are gathered and shared with artists in a timely manner Coordinate the concept development process with artists ensuring local and global feedback is collected and shared accordingly Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring that all display production and installations are completed on time Coordinate the schedules with internal and external stakeholders to meet live deadlines Provide technical input on design feasibility, material selection, and production methods Ensure all production and installation processes comply with safety regulations and company policies Develop and maintain budgets for all projects, ensuring all are completed within the allocated means Continuously gather feedback and insights on the performance and reception of window displays, making adjustments as needed
Team Collaboration
Together with the Senior Communication Activation Manager define and build the windows display strategy and planning for the subsidiary Work closely with the Retail, VM and Retail Merchandising teams on product selection to reflect the local strategy, priorities and key launches across the year Collaborate with the Events Manager on windows events and launches projects
Sourcing
Work hand in hand with the Communication Activation Officer to proactively research and identify new creative talent, artists, designers, craftspeople, makers for future projects Explore and propose new materials, sustainable methods and techniques Help to onboard and immerse creative talent to maximise creative output Identify opportunities for set reuse, recycle and/or donation alongside CSR Manager
Management Responsibilities
(Team, Internal & External Partners)
Demonstrate excellent cross functional team communications skills Confidence managing external partners and suppliers Ensure compliance with all Hermès internal procedures in relation to procurement, budget and reporting
Competencies
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within creative and production fields. You will be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills and attention to detail honed over several years ideally from event or set production fields. A confident and experienced professional able to show ability to manage multiple projects and installations of complex displays.
You will also possess:
Significant working experience in similar role Event or set production experience ideally gained either in-house, at an agency or theatre A proven track record of successful projects in the event, design, architecture or art industries Excellent network of production, set build, art & design contacts Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English, with a natural ability to communicate to both senior managers and store directors as well members of Hermès head office in Paris Solid understanding and sensitivity to cultural and artistic trends both in UK & globally Excellent planning and organisational skills Knowledge of design software Adobe Creative Suite Strong interest in art and design, and passion for retail, storytelling, immersive experiences A positive, flexible approach able to work well under pressure Competence in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines A keen sense of ethics, generous and hard working
