Windows AI Selfhost Tech Selfhost setup + Contractor will be responsible to install device images on all selfhost devices (10-150 units). + Communicate/interface with Client Windows OS team and identify and retrieve the early builds of Windows OS as a base. + Communicate with platform software leads and identify collection of drivers, BIOS and applications that need to be added to device image. + Use tools like DISM and WinPE to create and manipulate custom OS images. + Understand how to manage and extract the Windows Driver Store to migrate and install drivers. + Generate basic scripts in PowerShell. + Understand diskpart and storage device provisioning. Testing + Download and rum Microsoft ADK for testing.Run ClientSuspend to test sleep, hibernate and reboot cycles.Run ad hoc testing to reproduce failure scenarios. Special Units + Prep devices for demos (special HW configurations, SW and test loads)Run around Client Austin campus troubleshooting, delivering and replacing test devices. Hardware Management + Assemble computers, power supplies, memory, processors and other components and get device running. + Read and follow CRB Guides to flash basic firmware to get CRBs working. + Learn/know how to use dediprog to flash SPI components.
