As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Job Area/Description:

Join the engineering team at Qualcomm China, focusing on IoT Bluetooth and WiFi automation test system design and development. The candidate will be involved in the following areas:

Automate BT and WiFi function and stress test cases.Develop and execute automated tests using Qualcomm's automation framework.Design Python/Shell automation test scripts for BT/WiFi.Collaborate with development and test teams for test case design and bug tracking.Analyze test results and generate reports to help the team quickly identify root causes.Design and develop tools to improve the efficiency of development and test teams.

Technical Requirements:

Proficient with automation test frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Perl.Hands-on testing experience in embedded systems, including ARM, Linux, and Android.Experience in developing or testing connectivity technologies like Bluetooth and WiFi.Familiar with object-oriented programming.Proficient in common Linux commands and understanding of the user-level interface of operating systems.Self-driven engineer with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal guidance, and a quick learner.Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, capable of explaining highly technical information clearly and concisely.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering.
