Job Title: Wellness Coordinator Campus: Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, NJ Department: Student Health Services-Metro Hiring Manager: Krystal Mayers-Pagan Hiring Manager Title: University Assistant Director of Student Wellness Services College: Position Type: Professional Administrative Grade: 24 FLSA: Exempt Faculty Rank: Salary: Commensurate with Experience Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 12 Month Job Summary: The Wellness Coordinator reports to the Assistant University Director of Student Wellness Services. The incumbent is an integral member of the health services team and is responsible for the coordination of student health services. They will serve as a case manager, assessing incoming student needs, their intervention, and completion of services. In collaboration with the Assistant University Director of Student Wellness Services, they will prepare data related to student needs by area, analyze results, and quantify interventions required. Acts as a resource to students, faculty, and staff regarding the operation of the student health services. The incumbent is required to be accessible to students and participate in interdisciplinary care meetings with other University departments. Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree required in social work, counseling, psychology, public health, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.2. A minimum of 1-2 years related experience required coordinating health or social services. Related experience collecting, analyzing and reporting data required.3. Experience preferred identifying student health and wellness needs.4. Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred.5. Strong administrative and operations management skills.6. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.7. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and administrators.8. Willing and able to work non-standard hours as required, including evenings and weekends.9. Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.10. Previous experience using Word, Adobe, Excel, and basic computer programs.11. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
