Wellness Coordinator

Summary

Supporting the mission of Goshen Health, the Wellness Coordinator plays a pivotal role by leading wellness initiatives within assigned accounts. Responsible for orchestrating the implementation and oversight of comprehensive wellness programs at assigned companies. This role involves collaborating closely with account stakeholders, conducting assessments, providing personalized coaching and support, and facilitating the analysis and interpretation of wellness data with the ultimate goal of improving employee health status With a commitment to excellence and confidentiality, the Wellness Coordinator serves as a catalyst for fostering a culture of health and well-being, within partnering business entities.

 

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education:         Bachelor’s Degree in a health care related field or equivalent experience in health and wellness coordination.

Preferred Education:         Spanish speaking, writing and reading skills.

Minimum Experience:        At least 5 years of experience with health and wellness programs and/or community outreach.  Must have knowledge of presentation, spreadsheet and database software. 

Preferred Experience:        Knowledge of website management highly desirable.  Previous experience in proposal development is preferred.

Certifications Preferred:     Health and Wellness Coach recognized by the ICF or ICA.
