The Welding Instructor is responsible for providing welding instruction and training to students in the welding program. This individual develops individual achievement plans and evaluates student progress to ensure student retention and success in the program. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care. EMPLOYMENT AT EXETER JOB CORPSEmployment at Exeter Job Corps is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check and motor vehicle record check. Here is the schedule for this role: Monday - Friday, 7:45am-4:45pm + Responsible to provide students with comprehensive welding training leading to Career Technical Training completion and industry-recognized certifications + Provides students with comprehensive and individualized case management that ensures student progress, achievement and completion of the Job Corps program + Provides quality career technical training that leads to student placement + Provides students with job leads and monitors placement of all graduates + Ensures classroom is well-organized and conducive to student learning + Holds students accountable for following dress code/behavioral standards of conduct + Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner + Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards + Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required + A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required + Welding certification, license, or accreditation in the state of RI or accreditation by a professional trade organization required + Stick / MIG / TIG experience required + Plasma Cut / Oxy Fuel Cut / Oxy Fuel Track Burn Cut / Air Carbon Arc Gouging experience strongly preferred + Previous Job Corps experience preferred + Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements “Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
