WELDING INSPECTOR - PROJECT IN SENEGAL

We are looking for Welding Inspectors for a new pipeline project in Senegal (onshore and offshore)
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect welding procedures, techniques, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality control measures to assess the integrity and quality of welds. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all inspection activities. Identify and report any defects or non-conformances, and work with the welding team to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with project engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the pipeline construction project. Provide technical guidance and training to welding personnel as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a welding inspector, specifically in oil and gas construction projects. Proficient in both French and English languages, both written and verbal. For offshore position, a valid BOSIET certificate is required. Thorough knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection techniques (e.g., AWS, ASME, API). Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
