Welding Engineer

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Assure that the products are manufactured according to spec on designs established by corporate offices in U.S.A. Promote modern manufacturing systems that ensure a competitive advantage. Develop the technicians that belong to the team.      Maintain communication and information exchange among the engineering managers on corporate offices. Know the different standards applicable our products welding qualification as well as the several processes that are used within the different welding areas in order to be able to improve the process as needed. Knowledge on the welding qualification process in order to qualify a new process or different parameters in an existing one if needed. Knowledge on the variables that affect the performance of arc fusion welding process Who You Are:  You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations. You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options You build constructive relationships with people both similar and different to yourself.
 For This Role, You Will Need: Desirable at least two years on the industry as a manufacturing engineer Desirable knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, Flow Charts, Manufacturing procedures Interpretation of codes, knowledge of welding, Hydraulic systems, mechanical design, GD&T Engineering degree compatible with the assigned area Masters’ degree desirable Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
