Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a WELDER T32, Position Description Number PDD1215000 and is part of the AZ CSMS, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located with the Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of welding in support of maintenance activities. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: E-3/PFC to E-9/SGM/CSM Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC Warrant Officer: W-1/WO1 Compatible Military Assignments: Possess or be able to obtain 91 Series MOS SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 18 months experience or training demonstrating the application of a variety of electric resistance welding processes and equipment. Experience in using accepted trade methods and a variety of manual welding processes to weld all types of commonly used metals in various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. Experience using a wider range of metal welding processes to make more difficult welds meeting close tolerance, strength, and other requirements. These welds may be in hard-to-reach places. Experience which allows the welder to devise special jigs and fixtures to hold the parts to be welded. Experience which demonstrates knowledge of several related trade procedures. Experience which enables the lay out and planning of work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
