**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will apply their acquired job skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. This role involves working on semi-routine assignments and recognizing the need for occasional deviations from standard practices. The position requires completion of in-house weld training in either aluminum or titanium.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weld aluminum and/or titanium frames and parts according to instructions and training.
+ Consistently produce quality welds, identifying and addressing contamination, uniformity, and tie-in issues.
+ Demonstrate a drive for growth and a desire to learn to weld both aluminum and titanium.
+ Maintain a minimal failure rate in weld quality and craftsmanship; retrain through in-house welding if necessary.
+ Understand fabrication processes and product differences.
+ Ability to multi-task and maintain a clean, safe work area.
+ Work collaboratively as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels within the organization.
+ Follow directions, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments.
+ Read and understand computer-aided design (CAD) files and 1:1 blueprints.
+ Support all quality, safety, and environmental programs.
+ Safely and proficiently operate tools and equipment needed to fabricate, weld, and assemble parts.
+ Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in TIG welding.
+ Experience with welding aluminum and/or titanium.
+ Ability to read and interpret CAD files and blueprints.
+ Understanding of fabrication processes.
+ Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
+ Strong team player with good communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ One year of manufacturing or production experience, preferred.
+ Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, preferred.
+ Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a production facility that assembles wheelchairs. It can be loud at times, and there may be dust in the area. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace.

This is a Contract position based out of Pasco, Washington.
