Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel ranging from 7 to 20 gauge thickness. The role involves reading blueprints and tape measures, utilizing hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products, and occasionally lifting 50-75 lbs. You will also utilize JIBB cranes to move materials and will receive an AWSD 1.2 weld certification (6G Weld Aluminum).

Enjoy a very clean and comfortable shop environment where employees are treated well and given pay increases upon permanent hire. The work is not strenuous, and managers allow you to work at your own speed. Double time is offered for voluntary Sunday shifts if 40 hours are hit during the week.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and effective environment with MIG welding openings. The facility operates on a 150,000 square foot manufacturing floor, and you can expect to work around 50 hours per week, with potential for additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The dress code includes jeans, shirts, steel toe boots, and safety glasses. The manager is easy-going and likes to have fun but expects employees to perform well.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
