**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** A machine shop is looking to add to their welding team. This role primarily involves Mig welding with some limited Tig welding. The materials used include aluminum and steel (both stainless and carbon). The candidate must be open to sawing and cutting duties as well as other tasks as needed. This is not a position where you will be welding 100% of the time. **Responsibilities** + Performing Mig welding tasks + Limited Tig welding + Working with materials such as aluminum and steel (stainless and carbon) + Sawing and cutting as needed + Being open to other job duties as required **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of welding experience including Mig and Tig + Ability to read blueprints + Experience with robotic welding + Fabrication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Some robotic welding experience is nice to have but not required **Why Work Here?** This is a clean, climate-controlled facility with updated equipment. Individual welding rooms are provided with good air circulation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
