**Job Title:** Welder **Location:** Cordova, AL **Job Description:** **We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Cordova, AL, to work in our steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding, fitting, and cutting steel to build structures for a variety of projects, including bridges, dams, buildings, and other core equipment. This role involves measuring, cutting, and welding steel to precise specifications.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Measure, cut, and weld steel materials for structural projects. + Fabricate and fit steel beams, parts, and structures. + Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper welding and fitting. + Weld stainless steel, mild steel, and carbon steel using flux core, arc welding, and other techniques. + Follow AWS welding symbols and specifications to maintain high-quality welds. **Required Skills:** + Proficiency in Flux Core welding. + Strong welding skills in stainless steel, mild steel, and carbon steel. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. + Experience with steel fitting and welding structural components. + Familiarity with AWS welding standards and symbols. + Proficient in arc welding and back gauging techniques. **Qualifications:** + 1-4 years of welding experience on stainless steel, mild steel, or carbon steel. + Ability to fit and weld steel beams and parts with precision. + Ability to follow AWS weld symbols and welding standards. + 1-4 years of experience with arc welding and back gauging. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
