Job Title: Welder
Job Description

Candidates will be working in a pre-fabrication shop to weld together frames for modular units. The role involves MIG welding and fluxcore welding on steel (no aluminum or stainless), reading and interpreting blueprints, and welding primarily in flat or horizontal positions with occasional vertical welding. Candidates need to control AMP and tolerances to produce clean, strong welds. Responsibilities also include cutting materials, reading tape measures, and using grinders to finish welds.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced, repetitive, and construction-related pre-fabrication shop. Employees must wear steel toe boots and safety glasses. The dress code includes long pants, a t-shirt, and steel toe boots. The working hours are from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekends as requested and given prior notice. There is a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00
