Foster positive relationships with production staff to promote a strong quality culture and awareness.Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, report safety concerns, and follow safety plans, including forklift and emergency procedures.Implement and audit the Company Quality Policy and Objectives, manage nonconforming materials, QMS documents, and participate in corrective actions and root cause analysis (8D).Operate advanced quality instruments (CMM, Faro Arm, Virtek), assist with print interpretation, process capability studies, and maintain inspection records.Train and supervise operators and technicians on quality procedures, assist with calibration, and support continuous improvement tasks while overseeing the Quality Clerk and Technician 1 as needed. Qualifications and Requirements:  Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1-5 years in Quality Engineering/Technician roles, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, SPC software, and Excel; knowledgeable in GD&T, blueprint reading, SPC, PPAP submissions, FMEA, GAGE R&R, and Control Plan creation.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, including stamping, laser, CNC punching, press brake, and welding.Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a team player with problem-solving capabilities.Ability to read and understand work instructions, respond to inquiries, and create concise reports and graphs for management presentations. Benefits and Perks:Eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insuranceWeekly pay periods401k matching up to 5% Your New Organization: Our client is a premier metal assembly manufacturer serving both commercial and defense industries, with two advanced facilities totaling 240,000 sq. ft.
