What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be… Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area Will require overtime and some weekendsYour Education Should Be…
High school diploma or GED
4 plus years of welding experience. Current and valid certification a plus. Must possess mechanical aptitude
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Stooping, bending, standing for 8-10 hour shift
will need to wear PPE that will require total head covering for safety
Able to lift up to 25lbs
