Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team on the swing shift. In this role, you will weld on mild steel using .035 hard wire and FCAW with .045 wire, read blueprints, and fabricate parts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a clean and organized shop that manufactures sheet metal products for various industries, including automotive and exercise equipment.
ResponsibilitiesWeld on mild steel using .035 hard wire and FCAW with .045 wire.Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts accurately.Perform MIG, TIG, and fabrication tasks as needed.Run weld tests by joining two pieces of flat metal together using .035 hard wire.Work on both production welding and custom fabrication projects.Essential SkillsProficient in MIG and FCAW welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with fabrication and welding of various metals.Capability to run weld tests and produce quality welds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with TIG welding and aluminum fabrication is a plus.Strong attention to detail and quality.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a clean and organized shop with a combination of production welding and fabrication tasks. The shop operates on a swing shift with regular hours from 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday. Training will take place on the day shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available starting at 5:30am on day shift, and on swing shift, you must be available to work Fridays. Voluntary overtime is available on Saturdays but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
