**Structural Steel Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Welder responsible for the production and fabrication of structural steel components for commercial buildings.
**Responsibilities**
+ Produce and fabricate structural steel components for commercial buildings.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
+ Perform MIG welding on columns, I-beams, and other structural components.
+ Fit up (assemble) items accurately before welding.
+ Use grinding tools for finishing welded components.
+ Ensure welding meets AWS D1.1 standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience welding in a structural environment.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding.
+ Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Knowledge and skills in using computers.
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in fitting up components prior to welding.

**Job Type & Location**
This position is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
