**Position:** Production Associate
**Location:** Manassas, VA
**Pay:** $19/hour
**Schedule:** 6 AM - 6 PM (4 days on, 3 days off; then 3 days on, 4 days off)
**Duration:** 3-Month Temp-to-Hire
**Work Type:** Onsite – Must be available to work any day of the week
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a **Production Associate** to join our team in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate will support daily production operations while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Follow instructions from the Production Manager/Supervisor to meet production goals.
· Assist in various stages of the production process, including loading product, packaging, and monitoring quality.
· Document batch records in real-time and perform daily equipment calibrations.
· Load wrappers, bags, and other materials into the equipment.
· Monitor product for defects and escalate any abnormalities.
· Move products using carts, totes, drums, or pallets.
· Clean and sanitize work areas during product changeovers per batch records.
· Prepare products, boxes, wrappers, and ingredients for production.
· Load boxes onto pallets and transport them as needed.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace while production is running.
· Complete daily logbooks accurately.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
· **Education & Experience:** High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months of related experience or training is a plus.
· **Math Skills:** Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
· **Problem-Solving:** Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues using sound judgment.
· **Attention to Detail:** Strong focus on quality control and compliance with procedures.
**Work Environment & Physical Demands:**
· Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and vibrations.
· Occasional exposure to electrical risks, extreme heat, or caustic chemicals.
· The work environment is typically **loud** and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Must be able to lift/move **up to 40 lbs regularly** and occasionally move **up to 1,000 lbs** .
· Frequent standing, reaching, handling, climbing, and balancing.
· Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
