Duties and Responsibilities + Write, edit, and anchor weekends sports + Fill-in anchor during the week when necessary + Research and pitch sports packages you will shoot, write, edit + Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays + Responds to breaking sports events and other urgent newsrooms situations as required + Must be willing to work more than 40 hours a week Requirements & Skills: + 2 years television sports reporting or anchoring experience + A good attitude and good teammate with other members of the FOX8 sports department + Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism + Comprehensive knowledge of sports and sports related activities + Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously + Valid driver’s license with a good driving record + Flexibility to work any shift Employee’s duties and responsibilities are not limited by the above.
