We are seeking a Web QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. We'd like to meet you if you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our websites, applications, and systems work correctly.
What You Will DoReview and analyze system specificationsDevelop effective strategies and test plansExecute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze resultsEvaluate website code according to specificationsCreate logs to document testing phases and defectsReport bugs and errors to development teamsHelp troubleshoot issuesWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleContribute in improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, debugging, and developing standard operating proceduresCreating automated tests for both the User Experience and User InterfaceAdhere to industry best practices for front-end developmentStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesWhat You Have Done Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar roleFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plusAbility to document and troubleshoot errorsKnowledge in Wordpress CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactGood understanding of responsive design principlesKnowledge of SEO and best practicesAbility to work independently and with a team to meet deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPercona is a respected thought leader in the open source community.
