Description We are seeking a Web Designer for our team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers a contract employment opportunity in the field of Web Design. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and innovative digital designs and ensuring the overall functionality and usability of our web platforms. Responsibilities: • Develop and design user-friendly websites, incorporating innovative graphic designs • Utilize WordPress CMS to manage and update website content • Create wireframes to decide on layout and arrange elements effectively • Use JavaScript to enhance website functionality and improve user experience • Implement marketing activities on the website to drive traffic and increase engagement • Leverage Facebook Insights to understand user interactions and optimize design accordingly • Manage web applications, ensuring their smooth operation and integration with websites • Apply design controls to ensure consistency in design elements across all platforms • Stay updated with the latest web design trends and incorporate them as appropriate. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Graphic Design • Familiarity with Facebook Insights and its application in web design • Extensive experience in Web Design and building Websites • Proficiency in Wordpress CMS • Experience in Wire Framing and Web App design • Understanding of Design controls • Proficiency in JavaScript coding language • Experience in Marketing Activities related to web design • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of web design projects • An understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to web design • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Willingness to stay up-to-date with new design trends and technologies.
