Web Content Writer
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Web Content Writer in the healthcare industry, located in Orange, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for revising and rewriting web pages, researching, and interviewing for content creation. The role will also involve working with our content workflow and CMS systems, and will require a background in healthcare, UX writing, and content writing. Responsibilities: • Revise and rewrite web pages as needed to improve user experience and engagement. • Research various topics, including service lines and clinical information, to create informative and accurate content. • Conduct interviews to gather additional information for content creation. • Work with the content workflow and CMS systems to manage and organize content effectively. • Write digital website consumer-facing content to attract and inform potential customers. • Utilize skills in Assertion Markup Language, Content Management System (CMS), Database, EO/IR systems, and Facebook Insights to enhance content. • Apply knowledge of AP Style, Blogging, CSS, Design, Digital Content, and Web Content to create engaging and user-friendly content. Requirements • Proficiency in Assertion Markup Language is required. • Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) is essential. • Experience with database management is necessary. • Knowledge of EO/IR systems will be advantageous. • Proficiency in using Facebook Insights for content performance analysis is needed. • Must be well-versed with AP Style writing. • Experience in blogging and creating engaging digital content is a must. • Knowledge of CSS and basic web design is required. • Ability to create and manage web content effectively. • Experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry is preferred. • Must be able to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. • Must have strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
