Responsibilities
Be passionately in tune with latest web analytics developments, online behavior and trends Identify opportunities for the team's engagement in site tagging, campaign tracking, online site enhancements and marketing capabilities Drive towards continuous improvement in site tagging, analytics and testing Analyze and refine key metrics to measure web site performance Connect web behaviors to customer data to generate holistic understanding of online customer experience Maintain a multichannel perspective, broadly sharing knowledge and insights from tagging, analytics and testing Build dashboards and perform competitive bench marking and trending Leverage qualitative and quantitative methodologies to analyze captured data Provide in-depth and insightful custom reports to communicate key metrics and findings Document web analytics strategies and processes and recommend improvements Implement and configure analytics platforms and facilitate analytics code implementations

Requirements

BS or BA required in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods; MS, MBA or MA with strong quantitative focus preferred 4+ years experience in Web Analytics core competencies Broad experience with implementation and usage of web analytics tools such as: Urchin, Splunk, Google Analytics, GTM etc.
Strong understanding of Internet terms, technologies and protocols Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills Passion and ability to tell story in PowerPoint with data analysis Knowledge of and experience with designing and interpreting statistically valid site and site-related tests Excellent understanding of relational databases, data warehousing and web site technology Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work and priorities Advanced skills in SQL Advanced skills in Javascript Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required, as well enthusiasm and willingness to work with advanced data-visualization software like Table
