Main job function
Dry Process Manager will manage the Weaving, Warp Knitting, Weaving Preparation and Yarn Storage operations to ensure that the required standards of Productivity, Quality, Service and Safety are always aligned with or exceed stated KPIs.
The Dry Process Manager will work closely with PD & Design to ensure that technical considerations are taken into account up-front during the development process prior to proposals being offered to the client.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Weaving Manager role within a textile manufacturing operation. A solid track record in leading and managing in a manufacturing environment – vertical textiles manufacturing experience, especially in weaving preparation and warp knitting would be a definite advantage. Working knowledge of dyeing technology, processing and chemistry would be an added consideration. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of applicable industry legislation and regulatory framework, including experience in their application. Performance history in the preparation and management of strategy development. Comprehensive experience in people leadership and stakeholders’ management. A track record of executing a successful turnaround, in the manufacturing sector, would be an advantage. Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognized Diploma (Textile Technology / Engineering) Post graduate certifications in production management and SHEQ would be a distinct advantage. Working knowledge of Management Systems (e.g Lean Sigma, Integrated Management Systems – ISO 9001; 14001; 45001)

R600 000 – R750 000
