Job Responsibilities

•Overall ownership of growth and development of junior talent and Early Career Managers •Review and redesign the current on the job program and devise a development/ skills millstone plan for Analysts & Associates •Partner with Program Team and Early Career Managers to share best practices and to ensure key Program messages are being reinforced and filtered down to Analysts & Associates •Conducting regular check-ins and providing ongoing feedback to the Early Career Managers, IPB Asia Leadership and the Early Career Development Team •Ensure performance and compensation messages are delivered to Analysts & Associates •Manage challenging development issues. Leaning into difficult decisions while being conscious of potential pitfalls: Performance coaching , Resignations & Terminations •Work with Team Leads, Early Career Managers and Desk Managers to identify opportunities that provide a robust on-the-job learning experience •Assess mobility and development opportunities for top talent •Ensure an inclusive and equitable environment for all employees •Actively participate in recruiting and assessment process, as well as pipeline/succession planning

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

•Minimum 10 years experience in the financial service industry •Private banking experience preferred but not necessary •Consistent track record of strong performance over time •Extensive experience in coaching and mentoring •Effectively communicates constructive feedback to different stakeholders on an ongoing basis •Strategic partner who shares best practices with Program Sponsors, Early Career Managers, Senior Team Members and Leaders •Serves as an advocate for the regional Analysts & Associates •Commands credibility and respect from the broader team
