WB Games Sales Planning & Analysis Intern: LA - Summer 2025

Your New Role 

This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule. 

 
Your Role Accountabilities 

Sales Forecasting Support:

Assist in process improvements for data and reporting on various platforms (BusinessObjects, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Looker, Workday Adaptive, and other Reporting Tools).Assist in Documentation for Workday Adaptive and Data warehouse changes.Assist team members with their forecasting submission to include consolidating and loading promotional activity data, preparing forecasting tool (Workday Adaptive) with pricing, skus, release dates, promotions, etc.

Reporting Support:

Assist reporting team to prepare new release, preorder, and weekly sales reports. Ensure data integrity from 3rd party sources and internal sources.Perform regular checks and audits on data to identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies.Collaborate with other team members to support product master data.Implement data mapping strategies to integrate data from different systems and sources into the Data Warehouse

 

Qualifications & Experience 

Interest in Video Games and the Gaming Industry

Interest in data forecasting and data warehouse management

Proficiency in MS Excel

Comfortable with learning data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and validation

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large complex data sets and identify trends and patterns

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various cross functional group.

Ability to quickly understand database systems

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) 

Must be a current Graduate Student (18 years or older) 

Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.

Nice-to-Haves

SQL knowledge

Cross functional team experience

Interactive Entertainment industry experience

Some experience in a corporate environment

Experience with Workday Adaptive or other forecasting tools.

 

What to know before applying: 

The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.   

Program date options: 

Option 1: June 2nd – August 15th  

Option 2: June 9th – August 22nd   

Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.  

Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.  

Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Rate: $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
