Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. The Fulfillment Wave Planner uses the FC Warehouse Management System (WMS) to distribute work across the available labor pool in the FFC, in the most efficient manner possible. The inflow (client orders) and release of 'picks' is distributed across the physical FFC and the process path (single, multi, ship alone) using software, mathematical computation, and continuous communication in a dynamic environment.
YOUR TASKS Wave planners need to have a strong understanding of priorities and manage Expeditor to know priorities and expedite accordingly Effectively communicates with outbound supervisors Strong understanding and knowledge of WMS wave planning software is needed to evaluate issues and to maximize efficiency Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Investigate and Solve workflow issue using knowledge of all DC operations Effectively communicates issues and directions to associates Evaluates work processes for efficiency All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Follows all safety guidelines and performs in a safe and careful manner YOUR PROFILEMinimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment
Previous wave planning/expediting experience preferred

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 100 lbs
