As a Wastewater Operator, based in Red Bluff, CA, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant. Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and we’ll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the world’s most challenging Operations Management projects, together. #omfs #bia #ourjacobs Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Maintaining equipment • Conducting quality control testing. • Compiling reports and keeping records. • Ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures. • Diagnosing operating problems and making adjustments to optimize wastewater treatment processes. • Monitoring and controlling rates of flow, sludge processing, and effluent treatment. • Collecting samples and maintaining shift logs. • Performing other duties as required. • Prioritizing safety, health, and well-being for yourself and your team. • Highschool Diploma or GED • Ability to obtain an Operator Certification within one year of hire. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to input data into a maintenance management system. • Valid driver’s license. Ideally, You'll Also Have: • Working toward or holding an intermediate to advanced level wastewater treatment certification. • Knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, and motors. • Understanding of safe work practices. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals.
