Ocean Spray is Now Hiring a Wastewater Operator at the Middleboro facility. This 600,000 square foot processing plant has 3 production lines and can produce up to 80 million pounds per year of Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins). This volume represents more than 30% of Ocean Spray’s North American Sweetened Dried Cranberry volume and is operated with a workforce of approximately 200 team members. The starting rate for a Grade 4 operator is $28.85. This role is a Monday to Friday day shift position with rotating Saturday am coverage.

What We’re Looking For?
Ensure timely completion of required department activities in accordance with regulatory (local, state and federal) and Ocean Spray procedures.
Perform all required laboratory analysis for the Wastewater Treatment Facilities in either Middleboro or Carver.
Manage the Drinking Water Program for the Carver Receiving Station with direction from the Chief Operator. Including but not limited to training, sampling and report submittal.
Manage the chemical storage areas, including but not limited to: Ordering, receiving, inventory, housekeeping and general upkeep.
Perform all work in accordance with GMP’s, good safety practices and environmental regulations.
Perform preventative maintenance and light corrective maintenance associated with EHS and GMP audits as directed by the EHS Specialist.
General duties include forklift certification, batch mixing chemicals, material procurement, equipment calibration, data collection and input utilizing Maximo software, OpsPac data entry. All other related duties. Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds.
Qualifications:
Possess and maintain a minimum Massachusetts Grade 4M Wastewater Operator Certification.
Possess and maintain a minimum Massachusetts Grade VSS Drinking Water Certification.
Maintain RCRA Hazardous Waste/D.O.T. Certification
