Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: 

Waste Water E-Coat - Lab Team Leader will use and monitor testing equipment, take samples, and make adjustments to water treatment systems to make water safe for discharge into municipal sewer systems in accordance with local, state, and federal permits and standards. Ensure all process parameters are being kept during production. They will be responsible for testing and valancing chemistry levels in process tanks. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, draining and cleaning of process tanks, inventory control, data collection and recording, and 5s and general schedule responsibilities. Provide Leadership and accountability for personnel and productivity of assigned shift.

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED required;

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic plumbing, industrial electricity.Extensive knowledge of Wastewater SystemsMust have knowledge of bench testing lab equipmentMust be able to distinguish colors and shades for titration purposesMUST be able to properly handle chemicals per MSDS sheets.

TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

Understanding of related state and federal regulationsExperience treating oily and metals waste water Experience in industrial waste water pretreatment facilities as lead operator or significant relevant experience is required Able to read, understand and interpret technical chemical analysis and lab test resultsAbility to perform chemical calculations to processesExperience with plant start up is preferredKamtek Forklift Certification Required

OTHER:  Computers, Experience with basic Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
