The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. **Role Description:** **Summary:** The Total Rewards Specialist will support the Total Rewards Supervisor and Total Rewards team members with various compensation and benefits projects, and inquiries. This position provides support in the following areas, compensation and benefits, HRIS, and compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** + Support with conducting compensation analyses, inclusive of recommendations for new hires, internal promotions, counteroffers, and job evaluations while reinforcing the Programs overall compensation philosophy. + Partner in compensation projects and special reports. Actively contribute to developing new reports, job descriptions, spreadsheets, and databases related to HR and Total Rewards. + Research day-to-day inquiries and responds to employee benefits questions from employees, partners with other HR team members for reporting requests, and runs required reports. + Maintain Leave of Absence and medical personnel files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. + Maintain the WASS HR relocation program. + Administer leave programs such as FMLA, Personal Leave, Workman's Compensation, Long Term and Short-Term Disabilities and rotation cycles. + Administer the WASS Education Assistance Program. + Administer the WASS Employee Referral Program. + Assist with administering audits as requested. + Ensure accuracy and tracking for requested salary changes through the approval process. + Responsible for communicating and processing employee benefits during new hire onboarding, annual open enrollment, and qualifying events. + Maintain WASS Job Descriptions and ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements. + Support Total Rewards Team members with Defense Base Act DBA Workers Compensation program. + Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: **Basic Qualifications:** + Associate degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Minimum of 2 years experience in the Human Resources Total Rewards environment. + Prior experience working with Human Resource Information Systems HRIS. + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. + Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments with little supervision and ability to work well under pressure. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. + Knowledge of principles of HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ADA. + Successfully obtain U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust MRPT. **Preferred** + Workday experience. + Bilingual Spanish English, Level 2 Spanish + Active DoS security Clearance **Compensation and Benefits:** + Salaried Position. + Work schedule 40 hours. + Competitive salary. + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match. + Generous paid time off program. + Professional development and career advancement opportunities.
